The story
Life is bliss until one day Kanti Sharan Mudgal’s son Vivek is blamed for immoral conduct and expelled from school. Overwhelmed, Kanti plans to leave town until a divine intervention leads him to seek justice by taking those responsible to court.
What it’s like
Bright, crowded small-town India in saturated daylight, with cramped classrooms, sun-faded storefronts, and bustling streets that feel lived-in and noisy. The camera stays mostly close and conversational, with comic reaction shots and courtroom set pieces where the talk does the heavy lifting. The score mixes playful pop-rock with devotional chants, so the mood swings easily between cheeky and earnest. Its vibe is brisk, irreverent, and warm, a sharp-tongued comedy that treats a family's embarrassment with real sympathy. It suits a lively weekend evening, or a group watch where people want to laugh and argue afterward. Intensity is low: sexual themes come up through frank talk about sex education, with no explicit sexual content, and there is no graphic violence or gore. The pace is quick and talky, with emotional beats arriving between jokes. It is for viewers who enjoy socially pointed comedy with a big heart and don't mind a film that takes on taboo subjects with a grin.
