The story
Arnab tries to help Ruksahana, who is found under mysterious circumstances in a house. He lets her stay at his home until he discovers something strange about her.
What it’s like
Dim, shadowed rooms lit mostly by lamplight and the grey of rain-washed windows, with corridors that feel too long and too still. The palette leans toward muted browns, damp greens and cold blue night, and the camera settles into patient, slightly unsettling holds that let dread build before anything moves. Sound does much of the work: a low, creeping score, long stretches of quiet, and sudden sharp stings when something wrong appears. The vibe is eerie folklore unease, quiet and watchful rather than frantic. It suits a rainy evening, a late night alone with the lights low, or anyone curious about supernatural stories drawn from Bengali myth. The pacing is measured, with tension leaning on suspicion and gradual revelation, and the emotional arc follows a wary, decent man slowly drawn into a bond he doesn't understand. Intensity sits at moderate horror: frights and creepy atmosphere, some violence and blood, but no sustained gore. It is best for viewers who enjoy slow-burn supernatural horror with a human core and can handle a few jolting scares.
