The story

As Si Tu Mo's graduation is nearing, she is confused about her future plans. Her ordinary days are suddenly shaken up when the genius Physics student Gu Wei Yi appears in her life. The two accidentally end up living together and chaos begins.

What it’s like

Bright, warm daylight in cramped student apartments, sunlit campus paths, and soft interior lamplight that makes shared meals and quiet kitchens look lived-in and tender. The palette leans on cream, pastel, and sunny yellow, with a glossy, polished digital finish typical of Chinese web series of the late 2010s. Camera work stays close and conversational, mostly medium shots and two-shots that let small reactions land, with bouncy pop soundtrack cues and light comic stingers under the everyday bickering. The vibe is sweet, bubbly, and gently awkward, a feel-good first-love comedy with the comfortable rhythm of a lazy weekend. Episodes move briskly through misunderstandings and playful domestic friction, and the central pair's arc follows two prickly, mismatched people slowly warming to each other. The intensity is very low: romance and teasing, some mild physical closeness, no violence, no gore, and no real fear or cruelty. It suits a rainy-Sunday binge, background viewing while cooking, or a light comfort rewatch, and is for viewers who want an easy, affectionate romcom with nothing heavy in it.
