The story
Lala Kedarnath is blessed with 4 sisters. But his only worry is to find suitable grooms for each of them, as only then can he marry his childhood love. To what lengths will he go to succeed?
What it’s like
Warm, bustling Delhi-family interiors in bright tube light and saturated sari colours, with the camera staying close in the crowded rooms of a busy household and cutting easily between laughter and quiet sincerity. The mood is light and affectionate, a comedy of sibling squabbling and mild chaos that softens into a gentler family drama about duty, money and the cost of wanting something for yourself. The rhythm is brisk, with bursts of song-and-dance set pieces, broad physical humour and running gags, then pauses for tender, emotional beats between parents, siblings and a stubborn older brother. Its people change in small, wry ways: a self-absorbed man slowly learning to see his sisters as people rather than obligations. Intensity is low: some raised voices, teasing, a few tearful moments, and no violence, gore or sexual content. It suits a relaxed weekend evening, a family watch, or a comfort rewatch, and is for viewers who want feel-good humour with sincere heart and a sense of home.
