The story
Years after the horrors of Raccoon City, Leon and Claire find themselves consumed by a dark conspiracy when a viral attack ravages the White House.
What it’s like
Glossy computer-animated frames with sleek, hard-edged surfaces, where sterile white corridors and government offices are swallowed by red emergency lighting and cold blue monitor glow. Interiors feel clinical and claustrophobic, with lots of dark rooms broken by flashlight beams and muzzle flashes, and the palette stays cool and metallic apart from the blood. The sound is driven by thudding synth and orchestral percussion, with long stretches of tense quiet before the snarls and gunfire. The tone is grim, paranoid, and relentlessly tense, a survival-horror conspiracy told at a brisk, escalating clip with little room to breathe. The violence is frequent and graphic: zombie attacks, dismemberment, and bloody gunfights, all shown with a lot of gore. It suits a late-night binge for fans of the games who want fast action and bio-horror, and it is not for anyone seeking something gentle or low-intensity.
