The story
Get ready to Rock! Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Inc. Gang team up with the one and only KISS in this all-new, out-of-this-world adventure! We join the Gang at KISS World – the all-things-KISS theme park, as they investigate a series of strange hauntings. With help from KISS, they discover that the Crimson Witch has returned to summon The Destroyer from the alternate dimension of Kissteria! The evil duos ghastly plan, to destroy the earth! Can the Gang's cunning and KISS's power of rock save the day?!
What it’s like
Bright, saturated 2D animation in the familiar Scooby-Doo house style: flat primary colours, thick clean outlines, and a lurid theme-park palette of hot pinks, electric blues and stage-light gold that suits its rock-concert energy. The camera stays mostly conventional, with quick cuts and broad comic staging, and the haunted settings are rendered with a playful, slightly spooky gloss rather than real menace, so shadows and fog come across as costume-party atmosphere. The soundtrack leans hard on KISS's bombastic guitar riffs and stadium choruses, mixed with the gang's usual chase-scene bounce and Scooby's gulping, rubbery sound effects. Vibe: loud, goofy, cheerfully silly, a Saturday-morning sugar rush. Pacing is brisk, with a joke or chase every few moments and a resolution that wraps up neatly. Intensity is mild: cartoon peril, slapstick falls and monster unmasking, with no gore, no sexual content and no real cruelty. The emotional register is warm and affectionate, with friendship and teamwork carrying the story. It suits kids, families, and adult fans of either Scooby-Doo or KISS who want easygoing, high-energy fun for a lazy afternoon.
