The story

An embarrassing video of Anthony surfaces online right before his fifth high school reunion. The Smosh dudes then race to pull down the clip before it blows Anthony's chances of reconnecting with his teen crush Anna.

What it’s like

Bright, saturated comedy-film color with the flat, hard lighting of YouTube-era webcam sets and sitcom-style suburban interiors, the kind of glossy digital image that never looks dim or moody. Camera work is quick and jokey: fast cuts, whip pans, and gag-driven framing rather than lingering shots, with a sense of gleeful visual overload when the sci-fi gadgetry and timeline tricks kick in. The sound is a busy pop-comedy mix of bright cues, slapstick sound effects and upbeat music, with few quiet moments. Vibe: goofy, loud, nostalgic, and frequently ridiculous. It suits a casual Friday night, a group watch, or a lighthearted rewatch when you want something silly and fast. Pacing is brisk and the tone is playful and self-deprecating, with a coming-of-age undercurrent about awkwardness, old crushes and growing up that never gets very heavy. Intensity is low: physical slapstick, cartoonish mishaps and crude jokes, with no real gore and no sustained menace. For fans of internet comedy and buddy-comedy absurdism who want easy, cheerful chaos.
