The story
After an unsolved diamond heist, a hard-nosed cop’s pursuit of his key suspect turns into obsession, until they finally face each other — and the truth.
What it’s like
Tense, cat-and-mouse crime thriller energy, built on interrogation rooms, surveillance-style watching, and the slow tightening of a manhunt. The vibe is hard-edged and obsessive, with a cold, procedural feel that suits a focused evening with the lights low. Pacing favours steady build-up over constant action, so the mounting pressure comes from waiting, half-glimpsed clues, and conversations that carry more menace than their volume suggests. Expect crime-driven violence and some threat rather than gore, with the danger landing more through confrontation than spectacle. The emotional register is grim and driven, and the central relationship between hunter and suspect is the engine, pulling both men into a fixation that slowly erodes their certainties. It is for viewers who want a mystery that rewards close attention, a morally uneasy protagonist, and a story that holds its tension until the final confrontation.
