The story
The series accompanies a group of 16-year-olds on the journey of their life following their day to day in real time. Dependence on social media, how they face sex, love and ruptures, religion, the search of their identity and the need to fit in.
What it’s like
Handheld, close-in camera that stays at teenage eye level, with phone screens, chat bubbles and social-media posts filling the frame as often as faces do. Madrid appears in warm afternoon sun, crowded metro platforms, bright institute corridors under fluorescent tubes, and the blue-lit glow of bedrooms at night. The score is sparse and synth-tinged, and it drops out for long stretches so the everyday noise of school stays audible. The vibe is intimate, anxious and tender, with flashes of wry humour among friends. Episodes unfold in near real time, so the pace feels like following a group chat as it happens, with waits between posts and sudden bursts of drama. The arcs follow teenagers working out love, desire, friendship betrayals, faith and belonging, including a sapphic storyline handled with care. Intensity is moderate: frank talk about sex, kissing and some explicit-adjacent scenes, panic and emotional fallout, but no gore and little physical violence. Suits anyone who wants an absorbing, character-driven teen drama for a comfort binge or a focused evening, and fans of slow-burn queer romance and tender coming-of-age stories.
