The story
After the 2001 Parliament attack, a young and idealistic RA&W officer had a theory. In 2003, he had a mystery. This is the story of Himmat Singh
What it’s like
Cool, grey-toned interiors and dim, unshowy streets set a watchful mood, with cramped offices and late-night rooms carrying a procedural, grounded feel. The pace is patient, with long stretches of quiet tension and hushed conversation that break into sharp bursts of action, and the score leans on driving percussion to push those moments forward. The overall vibe is serious and taut, a slow-burning unease built on suspicion and persistence rather than spectacle. It suits a late evening binge when you want something absorbing and not too light. Violence arrives in sudden, purposeful bursts within its crime and action plotting rather than as lingering gore, so it hits with force but without much graphic detail. Its emotional core is a dedicated, somewhat isolated officer's stubborn pursuit of the truth and the personal toll that comes with it. It is made for viewers who enjoy layered spy stories, moral grey areas and a steady dose of adrenaline.
