The story
Inside the body of a teenager on the verge of losing his virginity, sperm embark on a mad race toward the egg.
What it’s like
Bright, cartoonish animation with saturated primary colours, where a teenager's body becomes a playful, slightly absurd landscape to race through. The mood is loud and giddy, a crude, cheerful farce with musical numbers and quick, bouncy cuts that suit a lively Friday night with friends or a silly weekend watch rather than anything quiet. The pacing is brisk and scattered, with several storylines cutting between one another and a steady stream of gags. Emotionally it stays light and goofy, with a coming-of-age undercurrent about nerves, first romance and growing up. The sexual humour is frank and bawdy, and the animation doesn't soften it. Violence is cartoon-style slapstick and peril rather than gore, and nothing lands with real menace. This is for adults who enjoy gross-out comedy and irreverent sex-ed satire, and it is not suited to children despite the animated style or anyone wanting something gentle and wholesome.
