The story

Siblings Kate and Teddy try to prove Santa Claus is real, but when they accidentally cause his sleigh to crash, they have to save Christmas.

What it’s like

Bright, glossy holiday-movie colour: snow-dusted suburban streets under streetlamp glow, warm fireplace oranges against cool blue winter dark, and a North Pole that looks like a busy, candy-bright workshop with toy-factory clatter. The camera stays mobile and playful, swooping over rooftops in aerial sweeps and cutting quickly between siblings and the chaos around them, so the feel is more sugary blockbuster than quiet hush. Sound leans on sleigh bells, a swelling orchestral holiday score and pop-leaning cues, with comic bursts of slapstick. Vibe: festive, bouncy, warmly silly. It suits a family evening, a snowy weekend afternoon or a cosy Christmas Eve watch. Pacing is brisk, with the emotional beats kept light, and the arc follows a bickering brother and sister who learn to work together and rediscover the magic of the season. Violence is mild and cartoonish: a few crashes and scuffles, no gore, nothing frightening beyond brief peril. Suited to families, and to adults wanting something gentle and nostalgic.
