The story

After a devastating toxic snowfall kills millions, Juan Salvo and a group of survivors in Buenos Aires must resist an invisible threat from another world.

What it’s like

Snow-muffled streets under flat grey daylight, with pale blue-white palettes that drain warmth from every interior, and a hushed soundscape where wind, distant sirens and the crunch of footsteps carry more weight than music. The vibe is bleak, watchful dread with flickers of stubborn human warmth, the kind of atmosphere that suits a cold night in with the lights low, or a long stretch of attention where you want tension without relief. Pacing is deliberate, building through quiet domestic scenes and tense, tightly staged encounters rather than nonstop spectacle. Its tone is somber and emotionally heavy, following an ordinary man who becomes reluctantly determined to protect the people around him as the city falls apart. Violence is present and can be sudden and harsh, including deaths and armed confrontations, though it is more implied and grounded than gory. Best for viewers who enjoy apocalyptic science fiction with a human core, slow-burn suspense, and a serious, character-driven approach to disaster.
