The story

Since the dawn of time, humanity has searched for panaceum - a miracle medicine that can cure every known disease and even overcome death. Sarah Pennington travels to a research facility in the heart of South America, invited by her mother - a microbiologist - and immediately gets drawn into the whirlwind of dangerous adventures.

What it’s like

Bright, 2D scenes you explore by clicking, with hidden-object searches and puzzles threaded through a single-player adventure. The mood is curious and brisk, the feel of a mystery worked out at your own pace on a laptop, with a female lead at the centre. The story is built around a search for a legendary cure and a research facility deep in the South American jungle, so the setting suggests expeditions, field-station corridors and archaeological clues rather than urban grit. Pacing is set by the player: scenes reward careful looking, and momentum comes from the next discovery rather than from action. The premise leans toward peril and intrigue, with no particular sign of graphic horror in the description. It suits a rainy afternoon or a relaxed evening session for players who enjoy puzzle-driven exploration, object-finding and a steady unfolding of a conspiracy-tinged quest, and who like the satisfaction of solving something by looking closely.
