The story

When an oil tycoon and a famous adventurer vanish into the harsh winter of remote northern Alaska, a hand-picked rescue team endeavors to bring them home. What they don’t know is that they are trespassing on The Yeti’s territory, and the elements are the least of their worries.

What it’s like

Bleak, snow-blown horror with a cold, isolating feel: the emptiness of a remote northern winter sets the tone before anything shows itself. Expect the pressure of a rescue party pushing deeper into white, unforgiving terrain, where the landscape and weather feel like a second threat. The mood leans on tension and unease more than on relief, with the creature's presence built through suspense rather than constant display. Its violence is tied to the monster and is likely to be sudden rather than lingering, so it suits viewers comfortable with creature-feature menace and visceral horror, not those seeking anything gentle. The pacing is built around searching, dread and the slow realization that the group is out of its depth, with the tone staying grim and wary throughout. It suits a late-night watch in a dark room, or anyone who enjoys survival horror set in harsh isolation and the old-fashioned thrill of a monster hunt in the wilderness.
