The story
A banking crisis forces CA topper Tribhuvan Mishra to take up sex work. Will this dual existence alleviate his troubles — or create entirely new ones?
What it’s like
Wry, grounded comedy with a drama's undercurrent of money pressure, the kind of show that plays a precarious life for dark laughs without tipping into spectacle. Its vibe is anxious and sardonic, a little bleak underneath the jokes, and it suits a late evening with some attention to spare rather than a relaxed background watch. Its tone is pointed and often uneasy, and it gives more weight to its central man's compromises and double life than to any thrill of the crime strand. The arc follows a respectable, buttoned-up figure whose carefully managed self starts to crack, with the comedy coming from the gap between how he presents and what he's doing. Sexual content is central, since sex work is the premise, though it's handled through conversation, situation and consequence rather than explicit display. Crime and a steady run of anxiety drive the plot, with some tense moments and occasional harsh confrontations, and violence, where it appears, is not framed as gratuitous. It's for viewers who like morally tangled, character-driven comedy-drama and can handle adult themes without wanting something gentle or escapist.
