The story
What happens when a young student loses his father to a cover-up? Can he find it in himself to forget the past and move on, or is revenge the only thing that can give him some peace of mind?
What it’s like
Tense, morally pressured crime drama with a slow-burn undercurrent of grief and resentment, suited to a focused evening rather than background viewing. Its central figure is a young student working through the loss of his father and weighing whether to let the past go or pursue the people behind a cover-up, so the emotional register centres on anger, restraint and the cost of wanting justice. Its crime and revenge themes point to episodes of physical conflict and menace, so it is not a gentle watch. It suits viewers who want a grounded, character-led story of a young man pushed toward a dangerous choice, and who are comfortable with a serious, sometimes harsh tone.
