The story
Sex, drugs and a gruesome murder. An edgy one night stand turns into a nightmare for Aditya, when he wakes up with blood on his hands. The evidence is stacked against him, but he doesn't remember the grisly crime. Is he guilty or not ?
What it’s like
Dim, close interiors and sodium-lit Mumbai streets give this Hindi crime drama a claustrophobic, slightly grimy texture, with the courtroom's fluorescent flatness set against nights in cramped flats and wet-looking city roads. The palette leans toward muted browns, cold blues and yellowed lamplight, and the camera stays fairly steady, lingering on faces during interrogations more than on action. Sound is sparse: room tone, distant city hum, and tense silences that a single score cue breaks open. The mood is paranoid and wearying, a slow-burning unease that tightens as a young man's memory gaps become a legal puzzle, and it suits a late-night binge when you want gripping rather than cosy. Pacing is methodical, with episodes ending on hooks and long stretches of procedural talk. The emotional register is anxious and morally knotted, following a dissolute young man and the lawyer who must decide whether he is guilty, and how fear and class shape that question. Intensity is moderate: a gruesome killing, drug use and sexual content are part of the premise, shown with some blood and bodily aftermath, but the focus stays on dread and interrogation rather than gore. It is for viewers who like courtroom suspense, moral ambiguity and slow tension over action.
