The story
A highly sophisticated Program called Ares is sent from the digital world into the real world on a dangerous mission, marking humankind's first encounter with A.I. beings.
What it’s like
Cold blue-white light and hard black shadows, with the neon grid glowing as a bright, geometric world of its own, while the real world looks like polished glass towers and sterile corporate interiors under flat daylight. Sleek, fast camera moves carry the action, and the synth-driven score pulses steadily under the chases and quieter moments. The mood is cool, driven and slightly uneasy, the feel of a late-night drive through an empty city. Its pace is brisk and built around set pieces, with the emotional core a stern, unsentimental character gradually facing what he's become. The action is intense but mostly bloodless, with fast-moving combat, crashes and some tense peril, and little gore. It suits a busy weekend evening with friends or a large screen on a rainy night, and it is for viewers who enjoy stylish sci-fi spectacle, glowing visuals and a driving electronic score.
