The story
Shinichi Sakurai’s one wish is for a little peace and quiet. But Hana Uzaki — his boisterous, well-endowed underclassman — has other plans. All she wants is to hang out and poke fun at him. With the help of her chipper charm and peppy persistence, this might just be the start of a beautiful relationship!
What it’s like
Bright, bouncy anime colours on a university campus: sunlit lecture halls, pastel cafés, cheerful city streets at midday, all rendered in clean cel-shaded lines with glossy highlights and simple, legible backgrounds. The mood is light and teasing, a warm comedy of small talk, playful jabs and exaggerated reaction faces that cut quickly between gags, with a brisk, bubbly rhythm and a bright, tinkly pop score that fills the gaps. Its emotional register stays easygoing and affectionate: a reserved, put-upon student gradually warming to an overeager junior who refuses to take no for an answer. The tone is cozy slice-of-life comedy, well suited to an easy evening, a comfort rewatch, or something to put on while tidying up. Intensity is low: the humour leans on flustered embarrassment and suggestive teasing, with fan-service camera angles and frequent innuendo, so it is not gentle for viewers who want to avoid sexual jokes. There is no violence and little real tension. It is for people who want a lighthearted romantic comedy with a playful, persistent heroine and a laid-back campus setting.
