What it’s like

Hordes of shambling, sprinting undead pour through sun-bleached city streets and dusty outskirts, rendered in a gritty, saturated action palette of ash greys, rust, and flashes of muzzle fire. The camera sits close over the shoulder, shaking with each blast and lurching through crowds, so the swarms feel physically overwhelming rather than scenic. Sound is loud and relentless: gunfire cracks off concrete, groaning masses build into a constant roar, and the score pulses in bursts that spike with each new wave. The mood is adrenaline-fuelled and tense, with brief pockets of breathless quiet between fights. Pacing is fast and repetitive by design, built around scavenging, holding ground, and extraction under pressure. Violence is constant and stylised rather than graphic, with frequent zombie kills, gunfights, and bloody but cartoon-level gore; there is no sexual content, and the dread comes from numbers rather than jump scares. Best for co-op friends who want loud, chaotic zombie-slaying sessions together, or solo players happy with high-pressure action.
