The story

On a trekking trip, an introverted Naina falls for a charming ex-classmate, whose thirst for adventure drives them apart. Years later, their paths cross again.

What it’s like

Bright, saturated Indian studio colour with a travelogue sheen: sun-warmed mountain greens, Manali snow peaks, Europe rendered in postcard blues and sunset oranges, and a glossy, high-key digital finish. The camera moves freely, with swooping crane shots, bouncing handheld energy during the trek sequences, and wide establishing frames that make landscapes feel like open invitations. Songs arrive as full-throated set pieces, with big orchestral swells, dance numbers in crowded streets and fields, and a warm, melodic score that keeps the mood buoyant. Its vibe is cheerful, nostalgic and openly sentimental, the kind of film that suits a lazy weekend, a comfort rewatch, or a long-haul flight when you want something uplifting. Pacing is brisk and musical, with long comic stretches between emotional beats, and the register stays warm even when the story turns wistful. The central arc follows two friends who drift apart and slowly find their way back to each other over years. Content is mild: some drinking and sexual innuendo, a few tense moments, and a family-drama strain, but no real violence or gore. It suits viewers who want romance, friendship and gentle melancholy wrapped in joyful, colourful spectacle.
