The story
Jatt is a reluctant superhero that fights crime and protects people. He meets his match in the evil Raka who he must face off to save the day.
What it’s like
Bright, saturated colour does most of the work here: candy-pink and cobalt costumes, sunlit Mumbai streets, and glossy digital compositing that lets the hero bound across rooftops and hang in the sky with a cartoonish weightlessness. Fight scenes lean on wirework and quick, kinetic editing, and the camera swoops and spins rather than settling into anything quiet. The score is loud, melodic and built around Bollywood-style song numbers that break the action open for full dance routines, so the film sits somewhere between a comic book and a musical. The mood is playful, sincere and upbeat, with an earnest hero who would rather be left alone and a lighter romantic thread along the way. Violence is stylised and frequent but bloodless, more punch-and-throw slapstick than brutality, and the villain is menacing in a theatrical way rather than frightening. It suits a Friday night with friends, a comfort watch, or anyone wanting a big, colourful, good-natured superhero spectacle with plenty of singing and dancing.
