The story

Akash and Kiara are trying to find luck in their life after several failed attempts to be successful in their careers and in love. Fed up, they both decide to commit suicide by jumping off a bridge. However, both land up on the same bridge at the same time.

What it’s like

Bright, saturated, glossy digital frames move between American cities in breezy travel montages: sunlit streets, hotel rooms washed in warm colour, and a Las Vegas glitter that tips into kitsch. The score leans on buoyant pop and romantic songs, with the rhythm of a Bollywood romance, so the film stays lively even in its quieter stretches. A man and a woman, both worn down by failure and loneliness, are thrown together on a road-trip-shaped journey that moves from cheerful banter toward tenderness. The opening suicide attempt is played for dark comedy and brief hospital scenes rather than graphic detail, and violence is absent. The result is a light, sweet, sometimes sentimental romance with a comfortable pace and a feel-good ending, suited to a relaxed weekend evening or a comfort rewatch for viewers who enjoy big emotions, tuneful music and the sheen of a mainstream Hindi romantic comedy.
