The story
A privileged Delhi socialite hires a middle-class student to pose as her boyfriend to maintain her social status. Their pretense becomes complicated when genuine feelings develop between them.
What it’s like
Bright, polished romantic-comedy textures, with the contrast between moneyed social life and ordinary middle-class routine doing much of the visual and tonal work. Expect a light, playful register that leans on banter and awkward social set-pieces, softening into more sincere feeling as a fake-relationship setup, a privileged city socialite and a student from a more modest background, starts to feel real. The arc is about two people who begin with a transaction and slowly drop their guard. Comedy is the main mode, with a touch of drama in the second half. The intensity is low: no meaningful violence or gore, and any sexual content stays suggestive rather than explicit. It suits a relaxed evening, a light comfort watch, or a weekend when you want something warm and amusing without much darkness. It is for viewers who enjoy youthful romance, class-tinged comedy, and the pleasure of watching a pretense slowly turn sincere.
