The story

A remaster of Assassin's Creed Brotherhood included with Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection. All the single-player add-on content (Copernicus Conspiracy, The Da Vinci Disappearance) is included and multiplayer is removed.

What it’s like

Warm, sun-baked Renaissance Rome, rendered in a remaster that sharpens the rooftops and lifts the palette: ochre stone, terracotta tiles, and dusk light that turns the Tiber gold. Sound leans on sweeping orchestral swells and quiet ambient wind, with the clatter of crowds and the crunch of hay carts filling the streets below. Movement is the real texture here. Ezio free-runs across sprawling city blocks and leaps from rooftop to rooftop in an open-world rhythm that favors long traversal stretches punctuated by bursts of knife-work and stealth. Its vibe is adventurous and unhurried, with a comfortable, sandbox calm between missions and a slow-building sense of conspiracy. Violence is frequent but stylized: swordfights, assassinations, and crowd-level brawls, with blood spatter that never lingers, and no gore beyond what the genre expects. Sexual content is absent. Suited to players who want a long, roaming historical adventure with a light touch of mystery, and to anyone revisiting Ezio's story on current consoles.
