The story

Get ready to use all your deadly talents in a very personal contract: protecting a vulnerable girl from a sadistic criminal underworld. Marked for death by your former employers and on the run for your life, it’s up to you to save the girl and eliminate your enemies by any means at your disposal.

What it’s like

Cold, sodium-amber light and rain-slick neon sit over the game's city streets, while its interiors lean on flat fluorescents, dusty motel rooms and dim bars where shadows pool thick. The palette runs to desaturated greys, rust and bruised blues, with the agent's suit a crisp black punctuation against it all. Camera work stays close and third-person, shifting into stark, stylised framing when a kill is staged and lingering on posed tableaux of trapped prey. Sound is measured: sparse, tense strings and low ambient hum give way to sudden silence, with footsteps, muffled crowd chatter and the click of a suppressor doing much of the talking. Its vibe is tense, stylish and coolly methodical, a noir thriller for a dark evening alone, when you want to slip through a crowded room unseen. Pacing alternates between slow stalking and abrupt bursts of frantic escape, and the emotional spine is a hardened loner reluctantly protecting a frightened young girl. Violence is frequent and cold-blooded, with gunfire, close-quarters kills and some blood, plus menacing threats and crime-world cruelty; it is not gentle. Made for players who enjoy patient, tactical stealth and a grim, brooding atmosphere.
