The story
When an abandoned haunted ship called 'Sea Bird' washes up on the shores of Mumbai, surveying officer Prithvi is assigned to solve the mystery and close the case
What it’s like
Dim, damp and rust-brown, with torchlight cutting across a stranded hull, cobwebbed corridors and water-stained cabins, while the grey-green sea and beach at Mumbai's edge stay under overcast skies. Sound design leans on sudden stings, creaking metal and the wash of waves, with a loud, thumping score that lifts the scares. The pace is brisk and sensational, with long build-ups broken by jump scares and a few bloodier moments, and the mood swings between excitable popcorn fun and genuine horror. Its emotional core is a rational officer who gradually loses his footing as a bruised romance and a workplace investigation tangle with the supernatural, so the arcs run on suspicion, fear and loyalty more than on quiet introspection. Intensity is moderate: frequent jump scares, brief gore and some violent menace, with no sexual content beyond light romance. It suits viewers who want a mainstream Bollywood-style ghost story, a Friday-night crowd-pleaser, or an easy spooky watch with a little romance and humour.
