The story
A man inherits a palace in rural Mangalpur and plans his sister's wedding there, but strange supernatural events and panicked locals force him to investigate the property's mysterious past.
What it’s like
Haunted-palace horror played for laughs, with the rural setting and folklore doing most of the atmospheric work: a crumbling royal estate, local superstition, and the ritual unease of black magic stories. The tone leans toward broad, bustling comedy around a frightened hero, so the scares tend to arrive alongside gags rather than in long, silent dread. Expect the rhythm of a mainstream Hindi comedy, with set pieces built around panicked villagers and escalating mishaps, and a supporting cast that pushes the farce. Its intensity is mild: spooky imagery and jump moments, with no gore noted and no sustained cruelty, so it reads as light, playful fright. It suits a lively weekend evening with a group, or anyone who wants Halloween-season chills softened by slapstick. Viewers who want a grim, slow-burn ghost story should look elsewhere; this one is for people who enjoy horror that winks at its audience and keeps the mood fun.
