The story

BIA tells the story of a group of teens who discover, share and develop their talents in the "Fundom", a place where they gather to hang out, create and express their art in a fun-filled and casual environment. Bia Urquiza, the main character, is a 16-year-old girl with great imagination and creativity.

What it’s like

Bright, upbeat and warm, with musical numbers breaking into everyday teen life, this is the kind of show that suits a lazy weekend afternoon or a comfort rewatch with the lights on. Its world centres on a gathering place where young people hang out, make things and try out their talents in a casual, fun-filled way, so the mood leans playful and encouraging rather than tense. Comedy and family drama sit side by side, with soapy twists and bursts of song that keep the energy lively without much heaviness. The pacing is brisk and episodic, and the emotional arcs follow a young, imaginative girl and her friends growing more confident in who they are and what they can create, through setbacks that resolve quickly and kindly. Intensity is low: there is no real violence, gore or dread, and the romance and conflict stay mild and age-appropriate. It is well suited to family viewing, to younger teens and to adults who want something gentle, sweet and sing-along cheerful.
