The story

The story of Shiva – a young man on the brink of an epic love, with a girl named Isha. But their world is turned upside down when Shiva learns that he has a mysterious connection to the Brahmāstra... and a great power within him that he doesn’t understand just yet - the power of Fire.

What it’s like

Saturated, glossy frames built around light itself: luminous blues and oranges, sparks and rings of flame, and the shimmer of computer-generated energy that turns a rooftop or a river ghat into a stage for something mythic. Between the spectacle, the camera settles into warm, close framing of two young people in ordinary moments, with sun-washed street scenes, crowded markets and lamplit evenings giving the romance a soft, golden texture. The score swells with orchestral and chant-like choral passages, then drops into tender piano and strings. The vibe is earnest, enchanted and big-hearted, with a sense of destiny running underneath everything. Pacing is expansive and leisurely in its love-story stretches, then surges into long, effects-heavy action sequences. Violence is frequent but stylised and bloodless, mostly fights and fiery set pieces, with no gore; romance stays chaste and sensual rather than explicit. It suits a weekend afternoon, a comfort rewatch, or a long flight when you want wonder and sweeping emotion. It is for viewers who love mythology-tinged spectacle, fantasy with a romantic core, and films that embrace melodrama without irony.
