The story

Factory construction and management simulator. Alone with your loyal crew, expand a small colony of survivors into an industrial empire! From an abandoned island to vast factories, research labs, and space program. Build, mine, farm, shape terrain, explore and take care of your settlement!

What it’s like

Clean, orderly and quietly absorbing, with a top-down or angled isometric view over terrain that looks like a sun-washed island at first and slowly becomes a sprawl of belts, smokestacks and tidy grids. The palette is soft and naturalistic: greens and sandy browns giving way to the grey-blue of stone and steel, with the camera drifting across the map in long, unhurried sweeps. Sound is mostly low ambient hum, distant machinery, birdsong and the gentle clatter of production, the kind of background that settles under you while you work. Pacing is slow and self-directed, with small milestones arriving as the factory grows from a few huts into a web of smelters and research labs. The emotional register is calm, methodical satisfaction rather than tension, though the early hours carry a faint survivalist unease as you scrape together resources alone. Intensity is very low: there is no gore, no sexual content and no combat to speak of, just the mild pressure of supply shortages and the occasional disaster to fix. It suits a quiet evening, a rainy weekend, or an open-ended session with a podcast running, and it is for players who enjoy planning, optimising and watching order emerge from chaos.
