The story

Yeon-woo, neurologically colorblind, sees colors through Yoo-han in a "color rush." Their connection intertwines with the mystery of his missing mother.

What it’s like

Quiet and tender, with a creeping sense of unease that tightens as a search for a missing parent deepens. A high school boy who cannot see color in the ordinary way begins to perceive it only through another boy, so the emotional texture rests on closeness and dependence, with the mood shifting between warmth and dread. Expect everyday school settings, domestic interiors, and the cool stillness of an empty home. The pace is steady, building through investigation and half-glimpsed clues, while the supernatural edge stays ambiguous rather than showy. Intensity is moderate: kidnapping and a disappearance drive the plot, carrying suspense and grief more than gore, though obsession and threat run through several relationships. The arc follows two young people, one guarded and searching, the other drawn gradually into his orbit. Well suited to viewers who want a romantic mystery with a melancholy, lyrical heart and an LGBT youth romance at its centre.
