The story

The son of a North Korean spy decides to follow in his father's footsteps to protect his little sister.

What it’s like

Taut, pulse-driven action with a teenage protagonist, set against a high school and the tense shadows of a state secret. The mood runs from restless and anxious to hard-edged, with the thriller engine of training, covert missions and surveillance pushing the pace more than quiet reflection does. Its emotional core is a protective bond between a young man and his little sister, which keeps the tension human even as the violence builds. Expect bullying, murder and assassination, with the danger felt in sudden, consequential bursts rather than lingering, and the shifts between school life and clandestine work carrying much of the unease. It suits a Friday night when you want momentum and stakes over calm, and it is best for viewers who enjoy coming-of-age thrillers with a spy-film edge and do not need a gentle, low-intensity watch.
