The story
A comedy drama that crashes straight into the lives and loves of six twenty-something adults living together as Property Guardians in a disused hospital.
What it’s like
Shot in a half-abandoned London hospital, this one lives in fluorescent corridors, scuffed linoleum, and hastily furnished rooms where the institutional greens and beiges have been softened by mismatched sofas and string lights. The camera stays close and restless, with lots of tight two-shots, quick reaction cuts, and a bright, slightly grubby daylight that makes shared kitchens and damp stairwells feel lived-in. Its vibe is warm, wry, and scrappy, the kind of easy company for a lazy weekend, a late-night binge with a drink, or a bit of rewatch comfort. Pacing is brisk, with awkward silences and sharp dialogue that often tips into real feeling, and the emotional register swings between giddy and bruised. Its people are young and unsettled, slowly working out love, friendship, and what to do with their twenties. Intensity is low: plenty of swearing, frank talk about sex and relationships, and some drug and drinking humour, but no violence and little that's really frightening. It suits viewers who want characters who feel messy and recognisable, and a comedy with a genuine heart underneath.
