The story
As a chain of horrific and inexplicable events start to unfold in their small town on the northern hemisphere, an ensemble of high school students will be forced to face their darkest fears in order to overcome a supernatural force feeding on chaos and the misery of mankind.
What it’s like
Cold northern-town dread, the kind that builds in overcast daylight and empty school corridors as much as in dark rooms. The sound leans on unease: tense, pressing silences broken by sudden shocks, the mood of a place where something is quietly wrong. The overall vibe is uneasy and suspenseful, with a teen-drama undertow of friendships fraying under pressure. Episodes move at a steady clip, with mysteries stacked on each other so that a reveal feels like the start of a bigger problem. The intensity is horror-thriller: frightening and unsettling, with dread and jolts carrying most of the weight, and some violence and disturbing imagery that lands harder than it looks. This is not gentle viewing and not a comfort watch. It suits a late evening with the lights off, or a binge over a weekend when you want something that keeps you on edge. It is for viewers who like young ensemble casts facing a supernatural threat, and who want the spooky, small-town-secret side of teen horror more than gore or jump-scare spectacle.
