The story
Dedalium is an innovative RPG game which can be played on any website installing the browser extension, but there is a lot to do on the app as well! The first steps of the game consists on selecting your initial gear, this gear will get experience when you fight and complete missions and will become more powerful. You will be able to find new gear on mystery boxes.
What it’s like
Quiet, repeatable rhythm: short sessions of gear selection, missions and automatic battles that run on their own while you watch, with progress arriving in small, steady steps. The feel is closer to a background tab than a cinematic world, something you can leave ticking over while you work, read or wait for a call to finish. Its science-fiction setting and turn-based strategy give it a systematic, numbers-first mood rather than an atmospheric one, and the satisfaction comes from watching chosen equipment grow stronger through use. Mystery boxes add a light, unpredictable pull, a small surprise each time something new turns up. Violence is combat in the abstract: exchanges resolved by the game with no gore or graphic cruelty.
