The story
GentleMoon 2 is a second game in GentleMoon series, an action game, filled with jokes and unlogical funny things to make you smile. The objective is to fly to the Moon and get away from the zombies this way. Before your trip to the Moon you collect the things that helps you to survive, like food, a weapon, good music, tv... Features: Flashlight - SCT (spinning christmas tree) Weapon - CRAP (chair rendering apple pie) Car - made of Comic Book and Magic Rocket to fly to the Moon - Santa's "borrowed" sledges Multiple targets to shoot - Afro Zombies and Penguins... What else would you need? Silly jokes all over the place!
What it’s like
Bright, cheerfully scrappy pixel-style look with an absurdist cartoon sensibility: a zombie-stricken world where a spinning Christmas tree serves as your flashlight, a chair-shaped pie launcher is the weapon of choice, and a car built from comic books and magic trundles along under flat, saturated daylight. Expect goofy, slapstick energy rather than atmosphere, with rapid bursts of silly jokes, bouncy sound design and cheerful chiptune-flavoured background music. Shooting targets include afro-haired zombies and penguins, and the whole thing plays out in short, scrappy sessions that suit a quick laugh or a loose afternoon of messing about. Violence is cartoonish and bloodless, mostly zombies popping apart in comic fashion, with no real fear or cruelty. It is light-hearted, low-stakes and gently ridiculous, made for players who want to smile, shoot things without dread, and enjoy nonsense for its own sake.
