The story

Silly Survivors - a casual, pared-down roguelike where you play as an adorable but fiercely determined furry fox, armed with… a flashlight! Your mission is simple: survive waves of suspiciously silly ghosts who keep trying to get close (and pull some kind of silly stuff). Light is your main weapon.

What it’s like

Bright, cartoonish colour against a dark backdrop: a fox in a little rounded sprite style pushes through dim rooms and outdoor night scenes, its flashlight cone cutting a warm white arc through the gloom while mischievous ghosts flicker in and out at the edges. The hand-drawn look is soft and chunky, with playful animation that bounces rather than lunges, and the sound leans on light synth chirps, squeaky ghost noises and a bubbly, looping chiptune that keeps the mood buoyant even when the screen fills up. Wave-based roguelike runs are short and repeatable, so sessions feel quick and low-pressure, suited to an evening on the sofa, a cosy spot on a lazy afternoon, or a few runs during a break. The tone is goofy and gently spooky rather than frightening: the ghosts are more pesky than menacing, with no gore and no real cruelty, just the tension of keeping them at bay. It is for players who want a light, mildly challenging action game with a lot of charm and a clear, satisfying loop of pushing back the dark.
