The story

Hidden in Plain Sight is a local-multiplayer stealth party game. Blend into the crowd of AI characters and eliminate the other players before they eliminate you!

What it’s like

Bright, flat, cartoonish colours on a crowded stage of identical little figures, with a clean, minimal look that reads clearly even when the screen is busy. The sound is light and bouncy, built around simple chiptune-leaning effects and short stings that punctuate each kill, with the quiet between rounds doing much of the work. Play is tense in short bursts: a round is a few minutes of watching a crowd, waiting for the moment to move, and then a sudden flurry of eliminations. The vibe is playful and mischievous, a little sly, with a jittery pulse of suspense that breaks into laughter when someone is caught out. It suits a get-together on a sofa with friends, a noisy game night, or a quick round between longer sessions. Violence is cartoonish and bloodless, with hits and takedowns that are comic rather than grim. Fear and cruelty stay at arm's length, and the mood stays light. It is for people who want co-operative-style chaos and playful competition with friends on one screen, not a slow, atmospheric stealth experience.
