The story

Coffee Stain Studios brings next-gen Goat MMO simulation to mobile devices. You no longer have to fantasize about being a simulated goat in a simulated MMO, your dreams have finally come true!

What it’s like

Bright, cartoonish low-poly islands in flat daylight, with blocky grass, plastic-looking props and saturated colours that never quite look real. The camera sits loose and close behind a scruffy goat, so every collision, tumble and sudden lurch feels physical and slightly clumsy in the hands. Sound is a mix of cheerful chiptune-adjacent loops, goofy bleats and exaggerated crashes and thuds that punctuate the chaos. The vibe is silly, bouncy and gleefully unserious, the sort of thing to pick up for a few minutes while waiting for a kettle or on a lazy commute when you want something that rewards pure messing about. Pacing is fast and scattered, with short bursts of play that tip into mild, cartoon-style slapstick. Violence is absent in any real sense; objects and characters get knocked flying in comic, bloodless ways, and nothing is frightening or cruel. Light, low-stakes and playful, it suits people who want an easy laugh, a bit of physics-based nonsense and an undemanding way to switch off, especially on a phone.
