The story
Zeepkist is a bright and colorful physics based soapbox racing game, with up to 4-player split-screen multiplayer and an integrated level editor.
What it’s like
Bright, saturated colour throughout: sunny skyboxes, candy-toned tracks and chunky, toy-like cars and characters that bob and tumble with exaggerated physics. The look is stylised low-poly 3D, clean and cheerful rather than realistic, and the sound leans on bouncy, upbeat music and comical crashes, clunks and wobbles that make every wipeout feel more silly than painful. Tracks are built around ramps, loops and long drops, so the rhythm is quick bursts of speed punctuated by tumbles and reset-and-retry runs. The vibe is playful, warm and low-stakes, the sort of thing for a lazy afternoon, a silly session with friends on the couch or a split-screen rematch that ends in laughter. Its emotional register is light and goofy rather than competitive-tense, and the sandbox level editor invites tinkering as much as racing. Intensity is very low: no violence or gore, just cartoonish crashes, with nothing frightening or cruel. It suits family play, casual players and anyone who wants a gentle, colourful game for fun with others or on their own.
