The story
Six would-be thieves enter a prestigious dance competition as a cover for their larger goal of pulling off a major heist.
What it’s like
Bright, glossy studio color throughout: saturated gold, emerald and hot-pink costumes against glittering Dubai skylines, with the sheen of digital cinematography that makes every set look like a jewel box. Dance numbers are staged as the centerpiece, shot with sweeping crane moves, quick cuts and a lot of mirrored, neon-lit stage space, while the heist scenes lean into sleek tailoring, vault-like sterile interiors and cheeky caper rhythm. The score is loud and percussive, built on Bollywood brass, dhol beats and big pop-dance hooks, so the film rarely sits still. Vibe: buoyant, showy, tongue-in-cheek. It suits a weekend party night with friends, a comfort rewatch when you want energy and laughs, or a break from heavier fare. Pacing is brisk and tonal shifts are frequent, moving from slapstick to romance to spectacle within minutes. Its ensemble of mismatched crooks and an aspiring star find their way toward loyalty and friendship through much teasing and misdirection. Intensity is low: comic action and a few brief scuffles, no gore, sexual content limited to flirtation and suggestive dance. For people who want a flashy, funny, music-filled caper with plenty of sparkle.
