The story

Sunlit, lavish sandboxes rendered in crisp, high-contrast digital detail: a Dubai skyline haze, the bright glare of a Berlin fashion house, dim Dartmoor-style manors under drifting rain, all populated by crowds that drift through rooms on rehearsed routines you learn to read. The soundtrack is restrained, with low, tense strings and ambient hum that swell at the moment a plan starts to click, while the rest of the time crowd chatter, distant music and clinking glassware do the work. Your camera sits behind a suited figure in a tight, third-person frame, and the pace is deliberate: long stretches of observation, disguise changes and quiet lock-picking, broken by brief bursts of quick, improvised action when a plan goes wrong. Its mood is cool, watchful and wry, the vibe of a dry-humoured thriller played with a clockmaker's patience. Violence is stylised and frequent but largely bloodless, with cartoonish accidents, poisonings and staged deaths rather than gore, and some sequences involve sudden, grim fatal falls or gunfire. It suits a long evening alone when you want to solve a puzzle slowly, and it is for players who enjoy planning, experimenting and savouring elaborate, darkly comic set pieces.
