The story

A censored Steam release of the romantic visual novel set in the fictional Japanese Yamaku High School for disabled children. Hisao's congenital heart defect forces him to move to a new school. Despite his difficulties, Hisao is able to find friends—and perhaps love, if he plays his cards right.

What it’s like

Static anime-style portraits sit over painted school backdrops in soft daylight, with warm classroom afternoons, pale corridors, and muted greens and blues that make the spaces feel lived-in and quiet. The pace is unhurried and dialogue-led, with long stretches of text on the screen, small choices that shift how characters respond, and a gentle, sometimes wistful piano-leaning score that lets pauses breathe. The mood is tender and reflective, with a thread of psychological unease running under the everyday scenes. Its central figures, a teenage boy adjusting to a new school and the classmates who become close to him, are shown working through illness, self-consciousness, and fear of being seen as a burden. Disability, grief, and frank discussions of the body carry real weight. Violence is absent, but there is strong emotional drama, and this release includes sexual content, with some scenes handled explicitly before censorship. It suits a slow evening or a reflective solo session, and it's for players who want character-driven romance that takes hardship seriously.
