The story
Madhu moves into a hostel in Delhi to start afresh, but her room hides a sinister presence that begins to get stronger each day, alarming the other women on her floor. They know what the room hides and desperately want her gone before it is too late for them all.
What it’s like
Dread builds in a shared women's hostel in Delhi, where the atmosphere grows heavier as the days pass and the other residents on the floor grow more uneasy. The tone sits in the horror register, with an undercurrent of mystery and interpersonal drama among the women who share the building. Its unsettling mood suits a late-evening watch with the lights low, when slow-building unease matters more than jump scares. Expect a horror-leaning thriller about fear spreading through a close-knit community, with the intensity centred on psychological tension and the sense that something is wrong in one room. Viewers who want a dark, eerie story about a place and the people who live in its shadow will find the mood they are looking for, though it is not a gentle or light watch.
