The story

The path of a street fighter and a dancer on skates, who are in love, is paved by friendship, grit and hope.

What it’s like

Bold, kinetic energy with a warm romantic core: street-level fight sequences alternate with scenes of dance and skating, and the mood is hopeful even when things get rough. Expect bright, high-motion staging, a score that leans into rhythm and musical set-pieces, and a feel closer to a crowd-pleasing Hindi musical-action romance than to anything brooding or quiet. The pacing is brisk, with the love story and the fighting trading places. Violence is physical and present in the contests and fights, but not gory or prolonged, and there is no graphic cruelty. The emotional register is earnest and uplifting, following a pair of outsiders as their bond with a loyal friend and their shared determination carry them through hardship. It suits a Saturday night with company, a spirited comfort watch, or anyone who wants romance with grit and dance-floor momentum, rather than something gentle and still.
