The story

Mollie and James are together and raising a family, which now consists of an older Mikey and his baby sister, Julie. Tension between the siblings arises, and as well with Mollie and James when Mollie's brother Stuart moves in. Mikey is also learning how to use the toilet for the first time.

What it’s like

Bright, unfussy family-house comedy: warm daylight through ordinary windows, sitcom-style two-shots of couples talking across kitchens and living rooms, and a bouncy, cheerful score under it all. The pleasure is in the baby-eye view, with the infants' running commentary delivered in wry adult voices over their quiet, wordless faces. Its vibe is light, chatty and affectionate, the kind of comfort watch for a lazy weekend afternoon, a sick day on the sofa, or something easy to half-watch while folding laundry. The pacing is brisk and episodic, with small domestic friction building and resolving within a scene or two rather than lingering. Emotionally it stays warm and gently teasing: a young couple learning to share space, a toddler and a newborn sizing each other up, an in-law's arrival stirring up the household. Intensity is low: no violence, no real peril, and only mild crude humour around nappies, potty training and babyish mishaps, plus light romantic innuendo. It suits people who want a sweet, silly family comedy that feels like being let into a cosy, busy home.
