The story

A Mumbai police officer's search for a missing teenage girl leads her to the depraved world of child trafficking. What follows is a cat-and-mouse game between the officer and a ruthless mafia kingpin.

What it’s like

Brisk, kinetic Mumbai thriller: crowded streets, sodium-lit night roads, and dim, grimy interiors where the camera lingers on bare rooms and shadowed faces. The palette leans on warm, saturated city colour in daylight and cold, harsh artificial light in the criminal spaces, with a pulsing score that pushes the chase forward. Pacing is fast and driven by investigation and cat-and-mouse tension, with frequent fistfights and physical confrontations. The intensity is high and unsparing: child kidnapping, sexual violence, and brothel exploitation are shown and discussed directly, and some beatings are brutal, including one fatal assault. The tone stays urgent and adrenaline-heavy rather than bleak, with a heroic, defiant lead carrying the emotional weight. Not a gentle watch, and not for anyone who wants a low-stakes or softened take on child trafficking. It suits viewers who want a fierce, morally charged action crime story with a strong female protagonist and a relentless villain.
