The story

Jordan and Paige are two twenty-something best friends who run an all-female weed delivery service in Los Angeles. Filled with funny, raw and bizarre adventures, the show explores the uncharted territory as Los Angeles comes out of the Green Closet and gets into high and higher times.

What it’s like

Bright, sun-washed Los Angeles daylight with a breezy, pastel-leaning palette, all bungalows, palm-lined streets, and car interiors kept warm and lived-in, the kind of look that suggests a lazy afternoon rather than a gritty underworld. The camera stays mostly conversational and close, cutting quickly between two friends in medium shots and tight reactions, with a light, bouncy comedy rhythm and the occasional surreal detour that breaks the frame. Sound leans on upbeat, sun-drenched pop and hip-hop-inflected cues, with plenty of talk over the top. The vibe is easygoing and cheeky, a bit scrappy and a bit silly, with a warm sisterly closeness at its center: two young women figuring out a shared hustle and each other. The drug content is constant but played for comedy rather than danger, with cannabis use, deal-running and mild sexual innuendo throughout; violence is rare and mild, never gory. It suits a lazy weekend, a light binge while doing chores, or a comfort watch for anyone who likes female-led, weed-culture comedy with a sunny, unbothered tone.
